Control who and what
comes onto your site.

Automated gates, barriers and bollards give you physical control over vehicle access — protecting your people, your assets and your site. We design, install and maintain systems that work reliably every single day.

Automated Gates Boom Barriers Security Bollards Vehicle Access Control PAS 68 Rated Options

Physical vehicle access control is increasingly important for commercial sites of all types. Whether the goal is managing contractor traffic, preventing theft, controlling parking or protecting people from hostile vehicle attack, the right combination of gates, barriers and bollards can make a significant difference.

We design and install a wide range of vehicle access control systems — from simple boom barriers for car parks to electrically operated security gates, rising arm barriers and security-rated bollards for high-security environments.

Integration with access control and CCTV is standard in our design process — so your gate or barrier system works as part of a coherent, managed security setup rather than as a standalone piece of equipment.

Systems we design and install

Electric sliding and swing gates — single and double leaf
Rising arm barriers for car parks and access lanes
Automatic bollards — fixed height and retractable
PAS 68 and IWA14-1 rated hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) bollards
Speed ramps and traffic management systems
Integration with intercom, access control and CCTV

Everything covered, start to finish.

01

Site survey

We visit your site, understand how it needs to operate, and assess the infrastructure requirements for the proposed system.

02

Design & specification

We produce a full design — equipment specification, traffic management layout, access control integration and safety measures.

03

Installation

Our engineers install and commission the complete system, including automation, safety devices and access control integration.

04

Handover & maintenance

We hand over with full documentation and operator training, then provide ongoing maintenance to keep everything running.

What makes our gates & bollards service different.

We do things properly — and we've been doing them that way since 2015. Here's what that means for you.

We design for how the site actually works

A gate right for a quiet industrial estate isn't right for a busy logistics hub. We design for your traffic volumes, operational requirements and specific security concerns.

Safety-critical installation

Automated gates and barriers present real safety risks if not installed properly. Our installations fully comply with EN 12453 and include all required safety devices.

Integrated with your security systems

A gate linked to your CCTV, access control and intruder alarm gives you a much more complete security picture. We make sure everything works together.

Common Questions

Things people usually ask us.

Are automated gates legally required to have safety features?
Yes. The Machinery Directive requires automated gates to be CE marked and incorporate safety devices that prevent injury — including presence detectors, safety edges and emergency stop mechanisms. All our gate installations fully comply with EN 12453.
What's the difference between a standard and PAS 68 rated bollard?
Standard bollards deter opportunistic vehicle incursions. PAS 68 and IWA14-1 rated bollards are tested to resist impact from a vehicle at a specified speed — providing protection against hostile vehicle attack. We'll advise on whether security-rated products are appropriate for your site.
How quickly can you respond if our gate or barrier breaks down?
For clients on our maintenance contract, we prioritise gate and barrier call-outs and aim for same-day or next-day attendance. For access-critical systems, we can provide emergency out-of-hours cover.
Can the gate system be operated by the same card or fob as our door access control?
In most cases, yes. We design gate and barrier systems to integrate with the same access control platform as your door readers wherever possible — simplifying administration and providing a single audit trail.
